When i try to install WinSession Logger my antivirus says that contains a virus, it's posible that??

WinSession Logger doesn't have any virus, some antivirus are detecting like a virus because is included a third part library. Commercial software can't contain real virus; If you are heasitang don't install the software.

What Operating Systems is WinSession Logger compatible with?

WinSession Logger work with all features in WINXP/2000/2003, 32bits, also it probably could run in older operative systems like 98/ME but with limitations. Is not full compatible with Windows Vista. I want to install WinSession Logger without the UnInstaller option in my panel control, but how to uninstall WinSession Logger. How can I go about doing this?

It's very easy, first make your installation and remove The uninstaller information from your Control panel doing this:

Inside of WinSession Logger main interface Open Setup Miscellaneous "Remove uninstall" (Click it).
If you want to remove the uninstaller, help file, etc. from your disk then locate the file unins000.exe,etc. using Windows Explorer from Microsoft and delete them manually. To ensure the files are completely deleted, we recommend to make sure WinSession Logger is not running.

Which Instant Message Platforms does WinSession Logger support?

First, WinSession Logger process, always runs in a invisible way, if you want open the main WinSession Logger interface, in the main toolbar, click on button with hint "Stop" and/or "Start" if you receive an error message perhaps the main executable of logging is damaged or missing for a disk failure. If this isn't the case try the classic solution, restart your computer.


Why isn't WinSession Logger recording any of my instant messages?

If WinSession Logger is NOT recording instant messages, ensure that you have enabled this feature in the Configuration/Setup Window, Also, check the adapter index (at Setup Miscellaneous Options Ethernet Adapter Index) if you have more than one network adapter. If you only have one Fast Ethernet adapter, then you should use in ADAPTER INDEX "0", remember that WinSession Logger includes a packet sniffer for your NIC, and you should choose the right network adapter.

Change ADAPTER INDEX from 0 to 1 if you have two network adapters and your Internet connection is the second .

Note: If all else fails your network adapter is not fully compatible with drivers installed by WinSession Logger for packets sniffing and you should disable logging of instant messages.

Is is possible that another software the uses a packet sniffer, example WM Recorder version 10, could conflict with WSLogger. Test this by uninstalling any other software that uses the WinPcap library and restart your computer.

I am not receiving the WinSession Logger logs via e-mail. What's wrong?

If you are not receiving your e-mail delivery logs, your destination e-mail could be wrong, remember that e-mail delivery of WinSession Logger is faster than using an external SMTP e-mail server, because WinSession Logger includes an e-mail server; you should have enough bandwidth for e-mail delivery (64Kbps are enough), check for others applications that could be blocking port 25 or firewalls and if the problem persists, you may need to consult your system administrator .

Tip: You can send your logs to an Hotmail, Yahoo or other e-mail account; the most important address is the destination e-mail. Note: To find out exactly what is going wrong and why you are not receiving e-mail delivery logs, perform a Test E-mail Delivery. If the test e-mail fails, you can view the exact error of what is going on and how to fix it! Opening a special log file after you run the test.

.WSL says that is running but it stops working after about 80,120 minutes, what is wrong?

You should register the software, please open about, fill the Registration Code or Activation Code and click "register".

I need a free FTP account, where i could get one?

Turn off the virus scanner in your computer or uninstall it if you are a novice user of NAV, or include wslogger and it's components in a exclude list of the antivirus to avoid warnings.

Click skip, not Delete, after that, in the next window click: More Details.

Select those items and click Exclude, you will not see a warning anymore of WinSession Logger for versions 2.x.

Follow this procedure for any other programs your antivirus that detects, like dangerous spyware that never should run in your PC. Of course, as with WSL, there is no problem if the warnings are about software that you knowingly installed.
